Doreen Avio Gain Multiple Nominations At Ghana Entertainment Awards – USA

 Ghanaian celestial influencer Doreen Avio has been nominated for the Ghana Entertainment Awards 2022—USA.

 She was nominated in two categories including Best Hype Man/MC and Best Radio Person of the Year, along with Andy Dosty, Ohemaa Woyegye, Bernard Avle, Giovanni Caleb, Kojo Manuel, Lexis Bill, Nana Romeo, Dr Pounds and DJ Slim. 

Her candidacy came just days after Anne Sophie AVÉ, the French ambassador to Ghana, was publicly honored for her active role in promoting Ghanaian music, art, and culture abroad. 

Doreen Avio started her career as Sales and Marketing Manager at Multimedia Group Limited about 12 years ago, moving into radio and television.

One of the most sought-after faces and voices in the multimedia arena, she is currently the lead producer of the Hitz FM newsletter, host of Daybreak Hitz on Friday, and host of Matter dey all on Hitz 103.9 Fm in Accra. 

She also hosts “Let's Talk Showbiz” on Joy News and occasionally plays “Cruise Control” and “Afternoon Definition”.

In addition to radio and television, she is widely recognized for her prominent role in nurturing and developing many musicians and brands in Ghana. She recently held an Independence Day concert with Kidi and Kuami Eugene at the O2 in the UK. She has also hosted many events including MTN Ghana Music Festival, Ghana Party In The Park - UK, Ghana Music Awards—UK, Connect Women's Conference, Ghana Technology Conference, Akwaaba Virtual Concert and many more.

Doreen is a mother and a strong advocate for Girl-child education in Ghana. She always believes in the principles of perseverance, fairness, teamwork, and perseverance.

Her appointment came as no surprise to many and is a recognition of his dedication to the media and the entertainment industry in general. She has received numerous awards, including an on-air actress at the MAYA Awards.
